BABY SKIN LASER

Some of the most prominent concerns with ageing is fine lines, wrinkles, sagging, skin laxity, blemishes, scarring, sun damage and pigmentation. Topical creams and cosmetics have great difficulty in achieving desired anti-aging and rejuvenation results due to their low absorption rate. The Baby Skin Laser uses the latest technology LaseMD by Lutronic. The LaseMD is a non-ablative Laser & Cosmeceutical Delivery System (CDS) which creates tiny micro-channels in the skin which assists penetration of advanced cosmeceuticals which are then applied deep into the skin with minimal down-time.

HOW LASEMD WORKS

A laser is paced over the face creating tiny micro channles, following the laser session ampoules containing various key ingredients are applied. Combining these key ingredients with the specially-designed CDS laser, the products are completely absorbed by the skin to restore, repair and rejuvenate your skin from the inside out.

FAQs

What makes LaseMD different from other laser treatments?
LaseMD is a non-ablative laser, most laser skin resurfacing treatments are ablative, meaning they remove damaged surface skin and require a moderate to significant amount of down time. LaseMD, on the other hand, works with your body’s natural healing process to cause the damaged skin to gradually flake off in the days after your treatment, limiting your recovery time. In fact, you can safely wear makeup just two days after each session.

How many LaseMD treatments will I need?
The number of LaseMD sessions you’ll need will depend on your specific needs and your skin’s current condition. You’ll see results after your first treatment, though many patients will want two or three sessions in order to get their ideal results. Our skin experts can estimate the number of sessions you’ll need in your pre-treatment consultation.

How long does LaseMD  take?

The laser procedure itself only takes approx 10 minutes, the rest of the time is spent cleaning the face and preparing a medicinal cocktail that will be infused into your skin, approx 20 mins in total. Part of the treatment involves applying vitamins onto your skin after the laser session. You may be given an ampoule to apply at home for up to 2 weeks.

Is LaseMD painful?

During the procedure you will feel a tingling sensation and notice a slight odor that is common with any laser treatment. It is not painful.

How many sessions will I need of LaseMD?

Single treatments and courses of treatments available, depending on your needs, our experts will recommend the correct number of treatments.

What is the difference between ablative lasers and non-ablative lasers?

Ablative and non-ablative lasers both use energy to penetrate through various layers of skin to repair the appearance of wrinkles, pigmentation, scarring, and other signs of aging. The main difference is non-ablative lasers do not break the surface of the skin, allowing for minimal or no downtime. Whereas, ablative lasers do break the surface of the skin, creating longer healing time and possible peeling.
